What is the GOLO Diet?

As Americans struggle to manage their weight, the number and range of weight loss products and diets on the market will only increase. Today, more than 75% of Americans are overweight or obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Clearly, we do. By 2020, the U.S. weight loss market will total more than $72 billion.

Unlike the ketogenic diet, the GOLO diet does not strictly prohibit or restrict your consumption of whole food groups, such as sugar or carbohydrates.

“GOLO claims that these hormonal imbalances, including insulin resistance, can be” corrected “with proper diet and activity, as well as by taking GOLO’s proprietary supplement, Release.” Insulin resistance does not usually cause noticeable symptoms.
